Why do the French seem overly petty in this game?

We get it... lot's of different nationalities, game with VOIP and comms built in as an integral part of the game... but when it's midday and your server has 28/100 players do you really need these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ auto kick features on because I appear to be not French?

Low and behold I don't advertise my ability to parlez Francais on my profile but I'd at least like 2 minutes to join and begin to explain to you I can speak French lol!

Joined plenty of other servers (German most of the time) and play without speaking with no issues. Just seems the French are the worst for it!

Btw I love France and it's people... just not on HLL!

I'm French, and being based in Asia I play on Asian servers. Not being able to speak a good Chinese make the communications with my squad difficult, and sometimes I'm asked to change squad.

So I can understand why French servers 'refuse' non-french speakers. That you don't even have the time to explain yourself is weird though.

If a French sever says French only, they mean it. This is not new news. I experienced this 16 years ago on servers. Only English, only French, only Russian. Respect their wishes and stop stewing.

Did you read what he wrote? He CAN speak French, but he gets kicked almost instantly.

Well you guys don't realise how bad the average English level of a French is ( and it's somehow wished, as our language is part of our culture and a direct rival to English ).
A few do, either because they play a LOT in international servers, or because they live abroad ( it's my case ). And among the few who do, not even half of them can speak it or understand a native speaker orally, restricting themselves to written English.

Try playing in a Russian / Chinese... only server. Same behaviour. Or try to play on an English server with everyone playing something else, you'll get mad. Don't forget not every player is native English speaker...

This is not true. Ive played on Russian and Chinese servers where I just put up nodes and play arty and no one bothers me. I tried this on a French server and as soon as I start shooting arty the f***ing commander walks up and tries to give me a French language test. Like WTF, who even does that.

I mostly play on NA servers and there are plenty of asian players and they dont get kicked.

I just think the little Frenchman are angry because this is a WWII game and they got knocked out of the war in a few weeks so they power trip on their servers like the little white flag wavers they are.
