Also the game isnt really optimised as it is. If there was destructable buildings, maps like carentan would kill peoples pc’s.
Yeah I never really thought of that. You are very right. I don't want this game ending up something like Call of Duty or Battlefield. I love the way it is. The realism and atmosphere of this game is what really drives me to like it.
Very true. On top of that it would probably take YEARS to do. Never thought of that until now. Now I know.
It's not that they would have to make the tools, but redoing every building with it would be a bit ridiculous at this stage.
Pity. Pre-recorded physics interactions that you can replay in engine for next to no performance hit. Pretty cool.
Big thing here too is buildings which are closed. Only few provide entrance inside
BattleField managed this pretty well on the xbox 360, was it bad company 1 and 2, then on to BF3 and 4 on-wards.
