Anyway to mute command chat?

Is there a way to mute command chat so that when my friends and i are playing Tank or recon we don't have to hear all these voices?

Answer is no. You have to mute each individual player separatly who you see speaking in the command voice chat. This can be done by pressing tab and click on the three lines next to their name.

Information overload is one of the reasons in every match I see players NOT wanting to play as SL. I don't blame them, as SL you often cannot hear yourself think, nevermind enemies around you.

This is the reason I mute a lot of SLs in my games, especially those too chatty in CMD channel. People have to learn to communicate what is necessary not what can be.

So you want to take a dump on team work and "play with your friends only"? Nice... I agree that some people are annoying and muting that one guy is useful. Now muting all command chat because "I want to play with my friends" is just childish and contributes negatively to the team. You should only play riflemen at most! That way you won't ear command chat and you don't ocuppy a crucial role like recon! Thank you!

Having a tank, recon, or regular SL that has blanket muted all of command chat is brutal. Sure, there's always that one guy with a tin can for a mic, or one that can't stop talking, just mute them, muting everyone else is jut bad gameplay.

Get married, your powers of selective hearing will increase 10 fold.

+1 muting leaders in a team based game isn't smart. If the audio by Vivox wasn't absolutely atrocious, we wouldn't have these discussions. The fluctuation between mic volume and quality is abysmal. Strange that the VOIP bug made me realize how bad the voice chat is.

Individual volume sliders for each channel, AND each player would help this a lot. I don't know if this is in VIVOX's wheelhouse or BMs....I hope it's not Vivox
