HLL performance improvement launch commands
These commands took me from 40-60fps to 90-120.

Right click HLL > Properties > General > Launch Option

Add this to your game's launch command line (without the quotes):

"-dx12 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=system -refresh 144" (change "144" to what your monitor refresh rate is)

I found it on HLL Reddit earlier today: https://www.reddit.com/r/HellLetLoose/comments/ot95fx/devs_if_you_make_this_game_move_smooth_with/

Doesnt work for many
im getting up to 160fps with a 3090/32GB 3600/3950x 32 thread... but its unplayable with the lag spikes on the new stali map at least,.. im sat here reading through discussions in disbelief because literally no other game does that to my rig ffs. . . so disappointed, not played HLL For 6 months plus, came back excited but yeah, lag spikes aiming and moving so frequent its unplayable... with that setup... wtf.

-dx12 works? I remember it use to crash on certain maps. Thanks for the tip.

That was fixed a few updates ago.

This improves overall performance for me except for the stuttering.

I have better performance without -dx12 command, after update 10. Less lag spikes at Stalingrad... PC: Win10, r9 3900x, RTX2070s, 32gb ram

Runs fine in terms of frames. Just stutters and dips randomly from it suttering. They need to stop worrying about adding new stuff for a bit. Solely focus on optimizing this game before people leave .

The stuttering on Stalingrad is a map specific problem I believe

Yes it is and the devs said they were working to patch it.

Like a lot of people I get stuttering on every map. Some worse than others.

Worked for me to bring the frame rate up. Still a few stutters but overall this helped

That helped me a lot. Was not playable before, but ok for now, 45-55 fps in battle. Figured it would help as I have old amd fx processor with new gpu, but with the old motherboard, not getting full performance from the gpu. Been holding off to upgrade, as most games are still totally playable. Using all cores makes sense as that has always been a problem with the older amd fx series, often wondered if it is intentional. Malloc makes sense as we use it a lot with Linux, provides for files in ram speed improvement to simply put it. It seemed like I was already getting 144 refresh, but left it in to make sure

Not going to be able to play for 6-12 months, work not jail, when I get back will upgrade everything then most probably, if I don't do another 6-12.

Not sure what this did but wow.. such an improvement.
