the thing about shared stats is, the tank crew only gets them when being in the same vehicle. how would you achieve that with spotter/snipers?
Where did you hear this? I'm pretty sure this is absolutely not the case. Spotter/Sniper scores are totally separate, I'm 99% sure.
They said that, but qualified it with: "targets that get eliminated by snipers that have been previously marked by the spotter reward more." This is not simply sticking together, this implies an active game system that tracks if a Sniper kill happened near a Spotter ping.
As I said before, Spotter/Sniper scores are totally separate. There is no relationship between pinging and killing between classes.\
Moverover, I did not say that "scores are put together;" I denied the causal relationship between Spotter and Sniper scores (ie, they're totally separate). Maybe try reading again.
Eh i mean, i'm pretty close to maxing out sniper presently, and it's taken *far* longer than my buddy, who is regularly my spotter. Kills don't count for as many points as you think. I *would* like to see him rewarded score wise with higher support points for how constant and accurate his information relay to command chat is, though. That would likely be a larger trigger for more people to actually spot, especially since it's really the more important job on the team.
