Hell Let Loose does feature bullet penetration yes!
This does mean that even barricades, more specifically Tier 1 & 2 versions can be shot through by certain weaponry.
Concrete bunkers should be giving you supreme protection though, unless someone gets a sneaky shot on an exposed limb or your head.
If you think something amiss is occurring please feel free to contact us at www.team17.com/support with any footage you may have.
What is a tier 1 or 2 version of a barricade? I see information but don't have anything that tells me what it is that is meaningful. What does that mean for the bullet used, does it matter for small arms or a rifle shot? Is there any reduction to bullet damage depending on the tier after penetration? Many more questions than have been answered.
If you are camping on the same spot for too long then sooner or later people will find you by the sound of your gun anyway, but most likely you'll get called out on by anyone you shoot. Also, a killcam doesnt have to be like Battlefields, it could be more centered around the aim and just showing the kileld player the center aiming of the killer.
(Preferably an option that could be turned off for those that dont want to see the killcam).
Im just saying, one thing doesnt have to be worse than the other. :)
Fence posts
Corrugated tin
Edges of sandbags
Trucks [even though they're unarmored!]
Trees
[Some] foliage
All windows
Supply crates
[Some] Barbedwire
Hay bales [SERIOUSLY?!?!? LOL]
etc etc etc.
You're better off assuming your bullets WON'T penetrate a surface, than to expect them to behave realistically.
I agree with that because when you follow a person, you can clearly see their head goes down slightly for the crouch run, but overall the body of the person doesn't get much lower unless they are full stop crouched. When you do it for your character, it is a true crouch when stationary but you don't see yourself standing halfway up when moving. It is a total game flaw!
