Finding a Friend's game or joining with friends.

I'm not sure what the best solution would be but trying to join a friend's game is so difficult and tedious. The only way you can to my knowledge is from the steam overlay, which is very strange that a game with this much focus on teamplay and communication doesn't have a simple join your friends options.

Everyone knows how annoying it is just trying to get into a server solo, but trying to get 4 friends into a game that someone else is already in is almost impossible or takes like 20 mins. And before anyone says it I know you can go into a less populated server, but being realistic not all your friends are gonna join at the exact same time, so if the server fills up before they join its the same issue.

I guess i'm just hoping for some QOL updates in the future, because seemingly small things like this can put people off from the game, especially when you are trying to convince your friends to play with you and not refund because just getting into a match that speaks your language is such a chore.

Joining as groups has been on the roadmap for a while, not sure of the time frame but they do have the option in mind.
The other option is to join or form a discord where your friends post what server and faction they are on and what time they joined

yeah the couple friends I play with already do that, joining specific servers is kinda out of the question since they are constantly at 99/100-6/6. My point is you shouldn't have to go to a third party app to play with friends easily.

It would be great to be able to easily join as a group. Have a few friends that are pretty good about playing as a squad rather than lone wolf. Would be great if we could join as a group to form a squad on the same team more often. The only way to do it by trying to find a server that is just starting to build player numbers and sometimes even then it can be difficult to get on the same team for a while. For all it's faults, this game can still be fun if played as part of an organized unit.
