They dont really need to be hidden anymore either. Ever since nodes get automatically torn down in a sector capture, it hasn't been important to search and destroy them. Afterall it takes a solid minute to manually remove them. Just keep in mind that if you place a forward garrison, you'll need to rebuild them if the point is captured.
I have yet to see anyone actually care about this or take it into consideration, although not wrong. But to have the option to hide them vs, not hide them, I would choose to hide them...

Yeah, I bring it up when I can so I'm not the only engineer...
It can be helpful when fortifying a point as support players can keep dropping supplies sooner. Otherwise it isn't going to decide if you win or lose.
