So about Satchel charges.
I played as german and planted satchel charge at front armor of Jumbo Sherman 76mm and It got destoyed. Then in another match I played as american.
I planted satchel charge at side of panther, bomb went off and tank got in flames then it revered at my AT mines behind it, they also blew up, but panther was still not destoyed... wtf is this logic?

Direct Rear is one shot for most tanks, heavy tanks can be a 50/50 depends if it got damaged by a rocket earlier. Either way if it doesn't blow up they sure as hell wont get far without repairs...
I've rarely if ever taken any shot or placed any satchel at or on a tank unless it was on its back. Now I can't 100% say that I picked the absolute weakest point of the rear (wtf where would that even be realistically) but more than I think is fair, the tank, whichever class (but especially tiger) did not die with one satchel. They did get damaged, don't get me wrong. But I think there is a bit of an asymmetrical gap there with tank toughness and satchels.

I just think one in the butt should blow up any tank. The infantry took the time to get in there and had to place (Not throw) the satchel, they should be rewarded with a dead tank. Obviously it should have little effect on the front.

satchels on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of tank is number 1 reliable way of killing tanks
may be the jumbo you can put the sachel on front was already damaged
OP - Satchel Charges are situational at best. If you carry them(as an engineer)) you can't build structures, so I say its a net loss to carry them.

yes but for an AT is a upgreate.
And the level 9 assault can have one too.

The fail logic is the fact the satchel is doing ANY damage at all to the tank. Satchels are not armor penetrating shaped charges. The ONLY thing a satchel charge is going to do is knock a track off a tank if placed properly. It would not even scratch the armor of one.

This place a satchel and watch a tank catch fire or blow up is just pure fictional tripe placed in a game calling itself "realistic". Satchel charges were used against armor in WW2 yes by the Soviets, Germans and Finnish soldiers, but they were the "poor mans anti-tank" when no other anti-armor was available. Mostly used to de-track the tank and stop it.
The only way a satchel was at all effective to possibly destroy an armored tank was if you could get it between the turret and the hull where the two connected.

Against early war vehicles or lightly armored vehicles they could be effective but against later war tanks and heavily armored vehicles they would have been completely ineffective at doing anything but tracking a tank or making a loud noise and little else.

You're most correct.

However, a satchel charge on the engine deck would also disable the engine entirely in most cases. Many tanks, even heavily armored ones, that engine deck is very thin armor in comparison. (Sometimes it was literally replaced with only mesh plating to help with exhaust/heat, and quick repairs).

Even just blowing the exhaust pipes and damaging that can completely render a tank unable to move, due to the engine choking out, so..

Yes, it won't outright kill a tank, but a satchel on the engine deck would do some serious damage, if not outright disable it due to either engine damage, or exhaust damage.

for sake of gameplaybalance i find it ok.
You need time to set up the satchel or pray the tank isnt moving and watched by other infrantryman. The risk muss be rewarded and if you as a tanker dont like beeing blown out out of nowhere... just ask for support befor you just run in blindly and show your rear to the enemys.
And if you want realism i want this: http://www.jaegerplatoon.net/kasapanos3.jpg.
This game isnt battlefield but still needs to have some dna that makes the game funktion and fun.

Satchels are pretty buggy atm. My squad mate put one on the back of a ground hound and it just went airboard and drove off.
