Instead they went with a 'solution' that I don't even think they tested. How could they have done this and not seen this themselves?

It forces you to be less run'n'gun. Spraying wildly.
That extra second it takes to check the uniform,helmet or weapon before firing is great and way more immersive.
Yes it is risky to wait before committing to firing but surely this is a good thing.
How many times have we read on the forums this game is being too arcadey and the player base is too COD/BF?
Well the devs just implemented a system that actively discourages you from going all pewpew and people shoot them down for it?
I dont get it, you cant have it both ways.

All this does is increase friendly fire incidents. I doubt most people are going to take that with an attitude of "oh dang, he must of been having a hard time of it" ... I assume you know this cause you've been on the internet for probably awhile now.
