i didn't buy post scriptum because in the reviews they said this was an issue, turns out it's a thing here too. i just want to play the game. not spend a hour trying to find a english server...

The German playerbase is large, they prefer their own circles but as large is rest of the English-speaking community. German servers states clearly in their name "Ger only". In top 10 currently listed servers based on activity world-wire, there is only 1 "German only" server:

If you are in Europe, searching for English only speaking community, may I recommend to jump into Exodus, 82AD and WTH within the top 10. I have nothing but good experience & interaction with them.

And for the screenshot: it's a bug which was introcuded with U8. All servers has it. Kicks whole server out several times per day. Devs are aware.

But to the OP's original point: language filter would be handy so a server owner can set used languages and user can filter our wanted/non-wanted language preferences from the server list.

and how do you do that? track everyones ip? making it impossible for germans abroad to play on german servers?

just find some english active servers and mark them as your favourite. problem solved

doenst matter, it is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid idea to make some servers disapear for some players because they may or may not understand the language that is spoken on that server.

There is no problem with german server. People just need to know how to seed an EN server. ;)

And you should try to write "UK", there is always a server who need people on it.

many times English servers are full...not all the time but many times.
I have played on UK servers...I like the community, they are seriously fun to play with but pings are high.
One time I got the boot because ping was too high

yeah but i'm in the EU... and the exd clan servers are always full. at least. 90% they keep 10 seats for vips...

US server are crowded in every game anyway ... on Tarkov, US people are fighting to get on the server so hard than the server lag A LOT.

But.. if you are from the states, you can't really play on german server with a good ping, so it's not the german server who pose an issue. US people need to seed more US servers. For that, people need to go on the discord of every US servers and try to recruit people to make a raid on an empty server.

If there is 20 guys on an empty server. He will fill up pretty quickly. If you see what i mean.

Take 5min at prime time and use filter functions to find server. bookmark every server fitting, even the full and empty ones. now you can use your bookmarks.
repeat the server research every 4-6 weeks
