TAW has been playing fps games for a very long time. Dedicated and serious players. Have played with members on other games.

do you know what will happen if you will take a proffesional football team and place them again a group of random people, and then show the word about this "great" match?
the proffesional football team will be insta-s*t-stained by the people and will never get any more chances to compete. Thats what TAW team does!

Meh ive been playing this game since it came to Steam, TAW came shortly after and they were steamrolling from the start, it like they MADE their server to be used as such (for steamrolling).
TAW is a really bad clan if they are tranining against randoms.

I used to be in a semi-proffesional CS clan, we NEVER teamed up against randoms.
for training we would arrenge training sessions with other minor clans, while if not traning we would just play randomly while using TeamSpeak just to chat as we play.

Anyways, if ill ever get a chance to join a clan on HLL, i will refuse to play against TAW

Hello,

I am the current CO of the HLL battalion within TAW - The Art of Warfare clan.

You are not the first player to complain about our team getting onto the same side and playing HLL together... on our own server... that we pay for ourselves.

Some people seem to think servers that are paid for by other people should be run in the way which *they* think is fair.

Our opinion is that we should play together as a team and do it as often as possible, ideally together against other clans, but we don't always have that option when we get together for a game.

We don't take time out from our busy lives and families to blow off some steam and have a game of Hell Let Loose in order to provide YOU a fair and balanced game by splitting our team up and on each side and fighting against each other all the time, (although sometimes we do exactly that for training and fun).

Other community groups might do that as a rule and that's great. If that's what you want, go and play on servers that focus on that style only if you wish.

I was playing last night and thought it was a good game, tough at times. There was other clan players on the opposing side in squads and even though we won it in the end after over an hour of gameplay, it was hardly ste(a)mrolling.

If you want to go and pay for your own server, you can do whatever you want on it and anyone is free to join you.

For everyone else already in a clan, if you want to have a go against a team of HLL players who have a few excellent players, a few midrange players and a couple of new recruits learning our style of play, then feel free to contact me or our war arrangers on discord: https://discord.gg/5vF225K

We are always recruiting for our HLL division! We have a series of clan matches on the horizon for 50 v 50 matches and we're a few players short at 47 members. If you love Hell Let Loose and you want to be part of a group of players with good comms ingame and a focus on teamplay, tactics and doing what needs to be done for the win, then check what we're about at https://taw.net/wikis/welcome/welcome-home-page.aspx and join us.

Even you, Summer.

Dear Lucatus, let me underline what you said:
"OUR SERVER, OUR RULES!"
"WE ENJOY SEAL CLUBBING AND STEAMROLLING BECAUSE ITS FUN"
"IF YOU DONT LIKE IT, GET LOST"

Have you any idea how pompous you sound?

If you don't grasp the fact that a clan that pays for its server has the right to organise clan events that entail the team getting on the same side to work on such things as communication, movement and squad tactics then our conversation ends here.

You seem to think that organising interclan matches on the regular is an easy feat with people's lives (we all have lives, unlike you it appears with your grand history of international clanmanship :') ) getting in the way all the time.

We organise two mandatory sessions each week and we seed our server during those times, whenever possible we arrange for a clan match to take place (on a locked server).

Now rather than bursting your bubble over nothing, slandering TAW's name for no good reason and being what to me seems like a frustrated old git I suggest you try to be a bit more positive.

Because either you willingly wait for Wednesdays/Sundays (the only days we seed our server) and join us on one of our mando's, where we do try to either balance sides out at first and once the server fills up try to get as many of our members in the same team to learn how to play together better or you had this happen a few times and lost your patience.

Resulting in this rather hilarious rant.

Good luck with whatever you have going on Sgt Grumpy

Edit: If you check this person's reviews you'll notice that he gives a negative review to any game with a multiplayer component: I.E. this guy is a very sore loser.

I'm rather sure you did not retire but were discharged from whatever organisation you were in due to your incessant crying and bad sportsmanship.

I understand that you are pro steamrolling and pro sealclubbing but during my days as a large clan member, we never teamed up on regular days because there was no point in "tranining" bu fighting random people, there was nothing in it to contribute to the clan.

During weekends we would lock the server and split into 2 teams and train, and about once or twice every month we would compete against other clans. and we also owned a server, mostly so that when time comes we could host a clan match.

So dont tell me about what and how to do it
TAW clan is an amature clan that "trains" its members by steamrolling random people, i can even go further and say TAW clan is an amature noob clan because most of their tranining was done against random people, so if ill make my own clan we will be able to smash TOW into the ground without much effort.

In fact, i may join one of the other clans (that dont steamroll) and push them towards tearing TOW appart

Hi Sgt.summer,

As TAW's HLL division commander I'd like to reply to this slander and explain this to you. And hope to see a mature reply. I even invite you to join our discord and have a chat if you wish.

But I'll try to explain it here, for others to read as well.

I understand the frustration of losing to a community (not a clan) that plays this game together for the teamwork.

However I'd like to point out a few big inaccuracies in your post and replies.

First of all: it looks like you're only playing on Wednesdays or Sundays. That's when we al come together to play some HLL.

Second: we start our events divided over both teams and after a match we start moving over to one side.

Third: if you were part of a semi-proffesional clan it must've been an avarage clan at most. You couldn't be more wrong when you think you can't train and gain from playing against randoms.

Randoms are more unpredictable than other clans or our own people.
Our real training sessions are on a closed server by the way, but playing against random people where its hard to predict what will happen is a first test.

Fourth: often during our mandatory events on Wednesday we have people from other communities or clans joining up against us.

However, we try to arrange matches on a closed (or open where ransoms can join) against other communities or clans. (Who's server it's on doesn't matter to us.

Fith: If you call last nights match steamrolling I suggest to look up the term steamrolling, because it was hardly that.

Sixth: And this is where you are most wrong about: our server is only only four a couple of months now. We've been there since the beginning of HLL and had a server before. But we were a much smaller team back than, and didn't have 20 people playing at the same time and/or side.

So a swift recap of your inaccuracies: You must only play on Wednesdays and Sundays on our server between 19.30-21.00 BST. And you're only doing that for the last 2 months (since that's when we starting to team up with 20 or more on one side)

Here's our discord channel: https://discord.gg/dT4CgWY

Hope to see a mature reply from your side as well. And feel free to join our discord and we'll arrange a meeting.
JellonaVesa Oct 5, 2020 @ 7:39am
Well, sounds alot like stacking at least if not steamrolling. But hope you will have full servers in future this sort behavior might cause people to avoid your server but then again if you have enough community players that wont be a problem. I can remember similiar issues with 82AD during Jan-Feb I complained them stacking on side but for my luck they decided to change sides on next map and every public player atleast had better time as well as much more longer and balanced match.
