Sounds good, but maybe the officer has to be next with radio men too for a call in. Ow that needs a strong squad play. But at least it wouldnt get over powered. Just a nice feature at the side.

General VoiP comms should never be behind a radioman, but access to abilities could be put there.
I think the commander needs a squad to pal around with, the number of times I don't take the role simply because I can't play close to my discord group, is racking up now.
A bunch of us got into a big chat about this last year. I think it was agree'd that putting any channel behind the supports radio or a radioman class was too much because we don't even have enough room for every class, and the game as it is doesn't really support it. Leader channel is too important, and hugging radioman all the time would be too boring.
Are you saying to reduce the ability to communicate only thru a radio squad that relays information to Command?
Would every squad have a radio guy the officer gives orders to relay to command then relays to arty?
Interesting idea as if the radio squad is taken out of action then its a loss of communication "Radio is down!!!" and no arty or commander comms, Sounds complicated though.
