Push to Talk Button Broken ?

Im using the normal Squad Communications Button to talk to the squadmates, - or Commanders (X Button). in 75% of the cases i press it and try to talk, the hint on the buttom left just dissapears and i cant communicate. Most of the times i press the button and the voice chat doesnt even react. Anyone else having this issues? Its a big problem if you want squadplay with comms....;-( Devs please take a look into this...!

I was having the same issue, but realized HLL works a little bit differently in terms of VOIP. You will ONLY see the hint on the lower left if your mic is actually detecting input noise. So, if you just click X (in your case) you won't automatically see the hint. Try hitting X while talking at a normal volume and seeing if the hint shows up.

Furthermore, if the hint seems to be disappearing while you're talking, maybe you need to increase the Mic volume in the audio settings of the game to ensure you don't have any drops.

Also, only C (Squad chat) and V (proximity chat) will work or display any notification if you are a "regular" soldier.

Only SLs, spotter, tank commanders, and the Commander use X (leader chat)

If you are just a rifleman testing out X, it will not work.

I can confirm that the mic buttons can (randomly) start disappearing (as in Pushing and it either doesn't come up, turns on and disappears, or not at all.) and I was fighting it for a full round, Next round starts no issue.
