No muzzle flash?!
Can someone explain to me why I can not see muzzle flash of enemies from mid to long range? I have all of my graphics settings on HIGH or greater except for AA/Post Processing. View distance is on EPIC and yet I consistently get shot at and do not see any target indicator even after I spot the player while they are firing. Any help would be appreciated.

Go get shot at in clear daylight and see if you can see muzzle-flashes. Maybe if you happen to be looking directly at the shooter. Maybe.

Brother I have owned over 20 guns personally. You are just factually wrong on so many levels.

no. 1 rule: if you see flashes look at the direction they are coming from and smile.

This happens in dim foggy maps as well even if you hear the shot & look towards where the shot came from, they miss X amount of times & still no flash from a bolt action, semi-auto or full-auto weapon.

If you need to prove people wrong go to an empty Offence server, get a friend and get them to stand, crouch & prone with shooting out in an open field & then do it while near trees, rocks & behind bushes, I'm sure it has something to do with the visual effect having a collision (clipping through the floor or object).

I've noticed a German laying prone 5 meters in front of me with sandbags blocking the face and rifle, yet he was able to see me & shoot at me, I wasn't able to see the flash or see him till I saw a puff of smoke after the 4th miss & noticed he was shooting from his Nazi gamer helmet.

Edit: Didn't notice this was back in 2019 & it's still been happening along with animation bugs as well.

Have you ever shot a rifle in daylight? Have you?
