Heroes & Generals vs Hell let Loose
I really liked the concept of Heroes & Generals, especially the constant war theme with the Generals having the RTS map and controlling resources for the FPS portion of the battles.

I loved that it had airplanes because I like aviation. My brother and I grew up playing Brother's in Arms together and we really loved playing as Paratroopers in both games. Everything else though was complete garbage in H&G, from balance issues, to frame rate, to slow updates, to the broken class/money system. So eventually we just stopped playing.

Having said that, how is Hell let Loose coming along and what are the major pros and cons?
Also, in terms of gameplay, how similar is it to Heroes & Generals? The more details you give the better.

I really love WWII themed games, so depending on your replies I'll link my brother and suggest we buy it to play together. :)

It's a complicated and hardcore version of Battlefield but more immersive (to an extent, there are still non-immersive meta). The game is beautiful but not fully optimized for low-end PCs. At 30 bucks a copy, it is worth the buy. I would say get it before they hike the price. There are a lot of good content coming out.

Many tanks and vehicles coming in the next few weeks, many infantry roles and more weapon selections coming down the line. Large and beautiful maps.

Caveat: There are a lot of people who still don't understand how to build for resources, even though its easy. The game still has bugs and is still in development. The community is not big so sometime you will end up waiting in line to get into a server, there are not many populated servers.
