Artillery how meters or miles one square on the map?
Artillery how meters or miles one square on the map? Because on the map there is a mark in the lower right corner, I don't think it is 40 miles for a cube and if I want to shoot 3 cubes at 40x3 = 120 miles, there is no angle at all.

Not 100% sure, but a rough estimate from the southern(German?) artillery position to The Barn is about 1100m. You could probably do the math from there.

you can always just have a squad leader laying down marks on the map for you to fire
later on we'll be able to do counting better since the game will stay as more solid since we are still in beta and they might change something up

You can also hover Your mouse over the friendly units while using a map and then You can see the distance to them in meters.

imho the ui still needs quite a bit of improvement.

That includes adding a scale to the map.

There is a scale on the map in the lower right corner but it is not good :D Then why put the game the artillery guns when it was useless because we didn't know the unit of measure? Just blind fire.

your squad leader can mark on the map and after that you just to adjust and fire
Tajin Apr 8, 2019 @ 8:58am
Yes.... obviously you can do that..... but that is not an excuse for having a map without a proper scale on it.

relax it was just the first beta, im sure they are taking this into account

Yup, probably.
Still nothing wrong with talking about the things that need improvements. That is the whole point of a beta after all.

Here a tip:
Open the map and put your mouse point on the friend's position in the front line. It will return the distance between you and your friend. Put plus 70~100 m to shoot in the enemy area.

And another:
Join as Squadlead if u dont block other ppl by using it (i do it on 1/2 - 3/4 full servers) so you can simply use marker´s on the map. This will bring ure target + distance as watermark on hud .. I hope they bring some kind of arty fire teams that can team up on own squad´s .. better for use and communicate between fireteams :lunar2019grinningpig:
