Training Range
One of the best features for new players in "Post Scriptum" in the map entitled, "Arnhem Range". It's a training map where new players can practice using all the different classes in-game, without having to take to the actual battlefield first.

There's public training ranges available where anyone can join but, unfortunately, it's best to avoid these servers because they're usually infested with idiots, determined to ruin your time there.

However, "Post Scriptum" have removed this problem by adding the singleplayer testing range map, it's the same "Arnhem Range" map, but you can now host it on your own and take all the time you need, undisturbed, to enjoy learning the game in advance of joining a full and hectic server.

I'd like the "Hell Let Loose" team to consider adding this excellent type of feature to the game for us to benefit from too. Here's a video explaining how a player in "Post Scriptum" can load their own practice map:

Having this excellent feature available for new players will give them the knowledge and confidence that they'll need as they join their first squad in-game.

Excellent idea if the HELL LET LOOSE Developers / TEAM17 would consider this feature it would definitely benefit not only the existing TESTERS /PLAYERS, also those who have added this to their wish list and want to play HLL.
Before jumping straight into the game with no real knowledge of how it really works a HLL Training range will give you the extra confidence to play in all the roles available by practicing first. What say you Devs ?

I think when this game goes live to the general public, an offline training map will be extreamly useful.

I beleive they have said that they were going to implement it for early access.

I'd like to see this type of map added much sooner than that, Andy. Another benefit of having this feature now is being able to keep practicing the game during any "down time" in the testing phase, as we're experiencing now.

It doesn't have to be a huge map, (Arnhem Range is quite small), just a well thought out one that offers us the chance to enjoy all the different aspects of the gameplay, from infantry to tanks.

I`d like to see Hell Let Loose have a training map where where you can host a Squad of your buds. This way you can learn as a squad unhindered by idiots continuously spawn killing you as you enter the map ala PS. Looking forward to trying HLL. Hope player movement ingame feels alot more effective and natural than PS "I`m running /moving through quicksand" feel.

Unfortunately no ; I bought the game recently and as beginner I missed that option dearly. Hopefully it is on the devs to do list.

This would be very useful and for me it should be mandatory the first time you open the game with a short introduction that puts you in the boots of a private to learn the basics stuff of each class and then allows you to practice with any class or vehicle you want.

A Training range has been asked for since the game entered EA. Hasn't happened yet and I doubt it will happen any time soon.
