Adding players as friends on Steam
I've had a couple of matches today with a good crowd and it's always nice to add friendly folks to hit up for more games another day....but I can't for the life of me find a way to send a friend request to them. I've tried opening up the player listings in games, clicking different bits, LMB, RMB...can't work out how to add them as friends. Any help would be appreciated.

If you go to your friends list and click on "add a friend". Once you get into the screen where it asks you to put it the steam ID, on the left hand side there are other options, one of them is "Recently played with". You can scroll through a list of everyone you've played with and add them from there.

Stryker, do you know if we can join onto friends that are in-game? Ages ago it kinda worked..then the queue system made it impossible. Devs mentioned it would be coming back eventually, fingers crossed that they've made it possible again.

No, I don't believe that is possible currently. That's something the devs I believe are currently working on. At the moment, all you can do is ask what server your friend's are playing on and join that way.

Yea, that's what I thought...I've since been using Discord to join up before a match and it's definitely easy enough!

I have had friends find me on official servers in the past, does this no longer work?

It doesn't work for me. When I click on "Join game" for any of my friends currently playing, it just loads the game and then sits at the main menu.

Bummer, it doesn't effect me too much as the vast majority of the people I play with are on Discord and easy to find, but I know many players use steam to connect with friends.
