Also had some cases where someone volunteered as translator such that all vital information was translated to english and back to german...

Germans, speak German on a German server and talk in a language everyone understands and this is german because everybody is german. Not every german can speak or can understand english this is why talking english ingame is for many german player extremly anoying.

It's quite funny. considering these languages are learned on school up to university, Unless you are a drop out from the school banks.

Einen Bärendienst erweist ihr der Community und den Devs! HLL braucht mehr Spieler, nicht weniger. Mit solchen Diskussionen werden Spieler, insbesondere potentielle neue Spieler (die nicht nur die Server füllen sondern auch den Devs die benötigte Kohle reinspielen), im Zweifelsfall abgeschreckt. Es wäre ja nicht so, als gäbe es keine Konkurrenz am Markt. Und das auch noch ohne Not, denn aus meiner bisherigen In-Game Erfahrung ist die Community recht erwachsen und nicht ansatzweise so salty wie z.B. in CSGO.
Ich kann den Frust des holländischen Kollegen auch durchaus verstehen, und wer sich ein bisschen Mühe gibt, wird das wahrscheinlich auch können. Ich ärgere mich z.B. auch, wenn ich in Paris nicht mit meinem Englisch weiterkomme. Will ich in Paris hören, dass ich doch einfach mal Französisch lernen soll? Spoiler: Nein. Sollte ich in Paris rumlaufen und die Franzosen anschnauzen, dass sie mal Englisch lernen sollen? Spoiler: Auch nein.
