What's the deal with the green lazers?
From the videos this looked like a WW2 shooter but are there aliens and sci-fi involved as well?

It says that Russian and Chinese tracers generate green light. In the trailer they are storming Omaha Beach right? Were the Germans using Russian ammo? I've seen many WW2 films, series, and played many games but this is the first time I recall seeing green tracers which is what prompted my initial question.

The German tracer was yellow...ish. From what I understand the yellow didn't look right or something to that effect so the devs went with a light green.

White, orange, red, yellow, on top of green were all common colours employed by the various branches of the German military during WW2. Thus you could have a rainbow of colours lighting up the sky when German units opened fire. Tracer rounds however were mainly employed on aircraft, anti-aircraft guns, or naval warships to lead heavy fire targeting.

It was mostly dependant to the types of ammunition being fired, what factory was making it, and what compounds were available at the time to put into the rounds (different elements make different colours, like putting a copper tube into a camp fire)

good to note there are different intensities too,.. and types that burn down range rather than out of the muzzle,.. since tracers give you away just as well, or more so, as you adjust fire.

Disrespectful to make such assumption, there is still people around who read books and know stuff.

If you type into google "Green tracers WW2" this is honestly the first thing that comes up. It's copy and paste.

How embarrassing.

"are there aliens and sci-fi involved"

No just millions of loud mouths ignorant of any firearm, ballistics, or historical facts screeching incessantly.
