Improve Aiming
Hey guys, so far the game is really improving and one of my favorites. I only have one problem. When trying to aim, it is almost impossible to do it very exactly. Always little "jumps". Any ideas how to improve that? Is it my mouse or a possible Setting Problem? Game is running smooth.

You probably want to disable mouse smoothing.
Edit Engine.ini, under [/script/engine.engine] :
EnableMouseSmoothing=False
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1921386620
("Disable Mouse Smoothing" section)

EnableMouseSmoothing=
Instead it only has
Core.System
Any idea? Im opening it with Notepad++
Thanks!

That's normal, simply add this at the bottom of your Engine.ini.

[/script/engine.inputsettings]
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False

I'm pretty good at aiming so far, but if this could give me back my RO2 performance it worth a try

Check your DPI. The best thing you can do is use a gaming mouse with adjustable DPI. If the DPI is set too high, just a slight nervous twitch of your finger will throw off your aim. I bought a good gaming mouse with 18 programmable buttons and adjust on the fly DPI for $30 on Amazon. Also, check your mouse surface. If your hand is resting on the surface and it isn't smooth, this also causes slight mouse jumps which are made worse by higher DPI settings. Same thing with the under surface of the mouse itself. I take a wipe and use pledge furniture wax on the bottom surface.

Higher DPI gives you more resolution on the surface you are using which technically is a good thing, however it also increases your sensitivity to accomplish this

Lowering your in-game sense will counteract this effect.
You can use a tool like https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/ to change your DPI and sense to get the same rotational speed as well as the having consistent sensitivity between games.

If you have a low DPI but a high ingame sense then you can encounter pixel skipping which is due to the low DPI not having enough resolution to accurately move your mouse.

Here's a good write up on the subject but you can also just google "pixel skipping"

This is way too technical for me.

I used to have the same problem the OP has though. These days, I play with 800 DPI, 25% ingame sensitivity, and 15% when ADS, and mouse smoothing and mouse acceleration turned off, all at 2560x1440 (1440p) at 110 FOV. Basically just find whatever setting works good for you and then get used to it. The settings don't really matter too much tbh, its just what you are used to. If you are good you will be fine with whatever setting you are used to. If you aren't good, then changing your settings won't really help very much - you will just always be bad.

I had this issue for a long time and considered getting a new mouse. I didn't want to buy a new mouse because I don't have a ton of time for videogames it's probably #6 or 7 on my list of priorities/things I do. What really helped me was just lowering my ADS sensitivity. It sounds odd but it actually really helped me aim with more precision at long distances.

Where did you see the game improving? In what place? No one is working on the game, they can't fix the game code for over a month, people have to exit and enter the game

you only die from bombs and artillery. who cares about aim.
