I confirmed it with my gunner. He said he got the same TK message that he also was TK'd by Johnny[Dixx}. I don't know Discord that well. I did go there and their site was a dead end for me. If you can tell me how to get to their posting area, I'll definitely lay it in more detail.
Do they have a real website, not Discord only? If so, I'll go there.
AS Cookie stated they take their reputation seriously and I hope the admin contacts you and helps get things sorted. There are a lot of good players over there and that leads to some great games.
To datCookie and Big Chef, thanks for the kind words! We strive to be the best we can be, and to help push the HLL community to its full potential!
Tbh, on dixx servers, it's usually the opposite...some donkey is tk'ing or being a dummy and he is immediately dealt with. Folks there seem to like playing the "right" way too, so you'll usually get some pretty quality matches on their servers.
They are also on top of retroactively investigating allegations of skullduggery, even against one of their own, as they take their reputation very seriously (see previous posts).
TEAM DIXX is a top-notch HLL gaming community to say the very least. In fact, TEAM DIXX is a shining example of solid team play and good sportsmanship. Their servers are clean, friendly, and exceptionally inclusive. If there is an issue, please consider bringing it directly to TEAM DIXX. I have absolute faith they will help you. You can count on them.
Don't play there. Simple as that.
These people don't care about the community. The fanboys commenting are exclusive to their social fraternity. GodSSend is a pathological liar, and his community is a dikks recruitment platform. Silentwhisper was caught infiltrating the =|TM|= community and was accused of attempting to steal members from our lists who play HLL.
These guys deal in malicious, shadow-like operations and they will post anything to make themselves look good.
Boycott that community.
They do not have a ban appeal system that works for everyone. It is exclusive to the people who solely support their pretentious endeavors.
If anyone is familiar with RoyBurns he managed to get permabanned on one of their servers. The admins acted within minutes after reporting him to their Discord for constantly TKing us in our armor.
They're good people and good fun to play with as well.
I had a meeting with a few leaders from other groups to discuss server side statistics when we ran a server, and it was obvious that Dikks was someone "immune" to these attacks while other servers suffered it constantly. It was a noted trend that every time they were struggling for population, and a 'rival' community was peaking for seeds, they'd mysteriously crash, sometimes multiple times in the same hour, until Dikks was populated, and then the servers would remain untouched because they were satisfied with their seed count. Not to mention their vile tactic of outseeding nearly every other community server in the NA region, instead of supporting communities to grow and host.
Example: a community server with a handful of seeders cannot compete with 20+ seeding players. Once they were satisfied with these numbers they would jump to their west coast server instead of helping a community server populate on the same coastline, thus driving the majority of players away from everything that is not exclusive to Dikks.
This is not how you maintain active communities in a Early Access title. I've seen time and time and time and time again this type of activity KILL early access games because only a select few groups are 'allowed' to remain active, while others struggle and eventually dissipate, ceasing promotion of said Early Access title within those communities.
Devs: Take heed of this, and stop supporting groups that are ultra exclusive to a select few.
I appreciate this. I'll show up as soon as I'm able.
As a rule, I can offer praise for the servers as well. I do note their rules post on entering the server and had the impression that they're serious. So this Johnny guy's actions were a surprise.
This is entirely possible, I saw the exact same thing happening in another online FPS.
DDoS attacks, and a server magically immune...
At some point, the developpers managed to ban the attacker from Steam.
Of course, this guy denied it until the end.
