HLL Artillery Calculator Android App
Ahoj!

There are already a handful of online artillery calculators available for us to use, but if you are anything like me, you'd rather not tab in and out of game to convert your distance values or even use the clunky built-in steam web browser. Well, for guys like us, a friend of mine and I sat down and made this convenient little thing called:

HLL Artillery Calculator
for your android phone!

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=appinventor.ai_florian_heilinger.HLL_Artillery_Calculator_RC1

What it does:
* Distance to elevation conversion (duh)
* List view (consecutively saves up to five last converted values)
* Dark mode

I should probably also point out that it is completely free, does not require any permissions and is in no way, shape or form affiliated to Black Matter Pty Ltd or Team17 Group PLC - it's purely fan-made.

This kinda thing is another reason i don't understand why manned artillery is in the game. Computer does everything anyway, so you are just relaying info from spotters? Couldnt the folks on the artillery be used elsewhere if artillery wasnt manned?

Btw as an ameatur developer myself i can fully appreciate the time and effort that goes into the app you guys made, and am in no way saying its bad or dumb or useless or cheats.

while I partly understand your criticism, you have to keep in mind that even with such a thing as a calculator, effectively using the artillery still remains a team effort. without proper information for the guy sitting in the HQ the artillery is pretty much useless. this calculator is rather only a tool to automate some aspects of it.

1 mil = 4.1m

12 x 4.1=49.2

Calculator?

I'm afraid it's a bit more complicated than that, my darling.

but I will say this: with a splash as enormous as these artillery shells have, you'll probably do good enough with that. if you wanna be absolutely accurate though, I advise you to use this app (or any other online calculator available)

Do shells even fall at an angle, or do they just travel straight down?

No trajectory, they fall straight down. You can hit targets in the streets of SME where if there was a n arch the round would strike a building before ever hitting the pavement.
