Window7/10 HLL

In a few month's i need to change from window 7 to 10 .

Does anyone have experience with this change in relation to HLL ?

My system is 8 year old but it runs great so i am not standing first in line to change to 10 but yea in the end i have to .

So people changed to 10 how does it run ? Ore people that run it under 10 from the beginning what are your findings in relation to HLL

Runs fine on my w10, I don't know why you care of it, w10 is better than w7.

Because i don't have experience with W10 , just want to know how people think about this .

Went i needed to make the swich i wasnt really happy with it either, everything was so different and after trying to get used to it for a few days i tried to see if i could find a solution to make it look and behave like win7 and sure enough, its something you download called Classic shell, or its already build in windows (not sure as it been a few years).
Took 3 minutes and a restart and ive never looked back. same feeling same everything.

Ahhhh ok thanks , peformance wise its pritty much the same ?

Yes, Everything worked like it should and it ran my games as good as before.

ad some hardwarwe in my pc some ssd harddisks , not to expensive lately and much much faster .

Should I Install W10 over W7 on my old 1.81TB Drive, or on a New Drive 1.81TB which I have installed, then move Steam Over from Old Drive to the New Drive with W10 installed. ???

w10 is having a lot of problems with its update, I recommend you go on w7 until you fix the 10

I will, So off I go shoping now for a SSD or an M2 SSD of about 125G~256G, for OS 10 then a SSD Drive for Software.

The Samsung Evo has served me well. I like overkill so I have a 500Gig for my OS and a 1T ssd for my games.
The 250 is a little over $50

You will like Windows 10 once you are used to the interface. Simply put, its an enriched version of Windows 7. The search bar will basically get you to every advanced sub menu or applications installed on your system.

I still play under windows 7, but i played befor sometime on win11 (same like win10) and what i have to say is, that the game looks better with win7.
The illumination looks much better and the datails in longer distances. Thats the reason, that i still play under windows 7. But steam shouldnt work next year under windows7, than i have a problem.
