Leaning is STRONGLY needed as you currently expose WAY more of your body than you would in real life situations. Therefore leaning is a MUST-HAVE!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
However I agree to some degree that a lean mechanic COULD be abused in the way shown above.
One restriction to stop it from beeing abused would be to add a small moment after leaning left, before you can lean right. This would also be authentic since your body has some inertia.
Another restriction COULD be to limit it to standing still.
Its the way Red Orchestra 2 did it. It definately will stop it from beeing abused, but at the same time it feels a little clunky.
Anyway - Leaning is an essential part of infantry combat and needs to come. I agree that it should be implemented in a way thats not abusable though ofc.
Best regards
That's what I said in my original post, add the "lean" function, but don't combine it with the ability to shoot whilst doing so. That's the ONLY way it won't be abused.
yeah i thought i read that as well.
be patient. the game is EA and lots of sht will be added, especially thru effective community feedback.
Threads that are older than the EA release date can prove to be, well...outdated.
