German Swastika being censored?

Haven't played in a few weeks, started playing again today, first thing I noticed was the censoring of the swastika. what's going on?

I believe this has already been answered by the developers. When the game is released, it (swastikas) will be available to players in countries that allow it.

I'm not German, but I believe that Nazi symbols are banned in Germany. Therefore if they want Germans to be able to play the game the must exlcude any Nazi symbols. Quite frankly I'm fine with it. I find the tactics, strategy, and technology surrounding WW2 quite fascinating. The game is very well done and is about teamwork. I don't find the the Nazi party in any way interesting.

I'm in Australia so it's not banned here, and they had the swastika in game a few weeks ago, i have a picture of it, that's why I was wondering.

I think it's not banned in Germany anymore.

I think that was only for Wolfenstein II

In Germany and Austria swastikas and SS insignia are ban unless used for "civic education, countering anti-constitutional activities, art and science, research and education, the coverage of historic and current events, or similar purposes," according to their Criminal Code, illegally displaying Nazi symbols in Germany can be punished by three years in jail....

I think both countries are part of HLL market area so I'm sure that's why it's not there ....maybe like Wolfenstein II It has to have special approval......

Yeah that's probably the best bet, probably why they censored the swastika for now. only asking because it was in game before.

technically the "swastika" is a religious symbol that they stole, cos nazis are unoriginal bastards, they took the whole wipe out a race thing from the Ottomans in ww1

Thank you for the comments, I know the swastika is a religious symbol, All I wanted to know is if anyone actually knew why it got censored recently. Is it censored for anyone else atm?

It is not splitting. They are all playing in the same game, other just have swastikas, others don't. What are you talking about.
