Display map in the second monitor

As the title suggests I would like to use the map in a second monitor to get the whole situation under control ... in BF3 and 4 I could do it since the map could be opened in real time in the browser ... is it possible in the future to have it like this?

but not realistic - this is more a mil-sim than BF4 etc. No soldier runs around with a map out all the time, only at certain points would they have pulled out a map. I dont think it is a good idea, and think it is better with the map having to be called upon.

However that said the commander should be able to have a table top version of the map

I hope they dont implement this, using the map is supossed to take your attention away from the fight.

Indeed having the compass always visible under the eyes is realistic ... dying and being reborn in a part of a territory is realistic! ^ _ ^

So when couple of things are not realistic then we can't have any realistic features?

We all know that Hell is not 100% realistic, so why would a map bother you on another monitor? I will never understand this!

As said above, looking the map should take you away from the battle.

Honestly, I would like to have a clock and compass that you can activate without having always turned them on ... and when you use the map you see it in your hand, like other games, then yes the game becomes more realistic, at least a little more ...

Having it on another monitor might be one way to stop streamers from showing the map to the other side, if indirectly, it resulted a way to stop it completely, map showing, I mean

It would be interesting to be able to use the map on a second monitor. To activate and deactivate the map pointer it would remain the M key

lol, add this and you'll get even more people complaining about arty and pinpoint bombing almost immediately. If I as an Arty player could have my map up on 1 screen and be able to freely aim the gun at the same time then I'd be much more effective since that would mean I could have chat in my map window for coords. Would be a massive advantage for all players that had 2 monitor setups and since I have 2 monitors I'm all for something that would give me an unfair advantage

Pretty simple. This would confer a significant gameplay advantage to the small minority of players who run dual monitors.
