How long do matches usually last/ How is the player base?

I just got this game since I watched gameplay and love the concept. I was wondering how alive the player base is and How long matches usually last?

another important question would be, for me, how fast is someone likely to be banned for being stupid in this game? It seems to be a growing trend with these on-going battle games. Fast banning and "cooling-off" periods of 20 minutes or more. I don't like games that use punishment to reform our minds. Some of us are just lone-wolves.

Currently matches cannot last longer than 90 minutes, I prefer the original 2 hour limit but that's another topic. I have played battles that were over in less than 30 minutes but for the most part you need to invest over an hour per match.

Not sure what you're referencing. I have around 60 hours in closed beta and EA and have yet to witness a single person to be ban voted off a server. There was a short period where a few weeks back where the devs were alerted to cheaters and some bans were handed down but from my perspective I have not seen any ban fests.

Thanks for your response! Would you say there is a healthy player base or is it kinda dwindling?

There were 2000 players on earlier today and it's the US independence holiday. Full matches are designed for 100 players so there were plenty of servers hosting games.

MAtches seem to last betwwn 4mins-1hr30mins, its 2hr's max.

The last patch lowered the match time to 90 minutes.
