People getting rid of fog on Foy.

So the title says it all...might as well let everyone do it at this point, as I'm getting kind of tired of getting shot by Tanks 300m out who can see me, and I can't see ♥♥♥♥ 50m in front of me. How do you get rid of the Fog on Foy?

If the devs aren't going to lock down the ini files so people can't mess with these settings, then it's not cheating, is it?

I know it's being done. I was just in a game where an enemy Sherman must of hit us 6 times from about 300m out. We could NOT see him because of the fog, but he was hitting us over and over with HE rounds, direct hits on our front armor. Could see the flash from 294m out.

No, it was towards the end of the match and I didn't even think of recording, as I was in the thick of the battle and the whole crew was wondering how he saw us, but we couldn't shoot back. I plan on trying to record it in the future.

I don't want the fog gone. That's not my point. I'd like a level playing field. We already know there are hackers in the game, there was one last night on the US East servers, again. Completely emptied an entire server. So it's not far fetched that players have either reduced the fog or gotten rid of it, which on Foy, is a huge advantage.

I've done nothing but defend this game, but something has to be done about people hacking, and something has to be done about players able to edit the files to get rid of certain weather conditions in the game as well. It's crippling to such a small community.

I'm pretty level headed, I don't like to blame people for cheating period, specially in a game like this. But this last time, the Sherman shooting us from so far out, was so blatant.

In the end, I really don't want to get rid of fog. It would ruin the experience for me. My question was more about how people are doing this, not how can I personally do it. I've heard alot of people saying it's possible and that people are doing it.

I did not say anything about not defending the game. .. And nobody are going to tell you how on this forum. Its cheating ;o) Look at it like this ,,, Those who use such things, know they are to bad to ever kill anyone, if there not cheating. Its a reflection of there personality irl ...

Yes you sound so il'informed don't you lol - the game right now can be played for free and online legit with certain things done to it. So these people are of course going to cheat their arses off as there is no comeback and no rebuy of game concern if banned.

So dev or the such msg me and I will pass on the info to you about how the game is being played for free. You need to lock this down fast! This is not the only game either it happens to unfortunately but this one will sink like a gold bar dropped in the ocean if its not dealt with in a speedy manner. Goto get this done early as most your legit player base is going to be affected at this stage.
