Mouse Vehicle/Emplacement Controls
Is there a way to control the bearing of the turret on tanks and emplacements with the mouse? So far I've only been able to control my aim using the keyboard controls, which are not exactly the most intuitive controls for aiming on PC.

I haven't tried any workarounds yet, but I presuming that an autohotkey script or mouse remapping can replicate it, but I'd much rather be able to find a in-game solution.

I think its working as intended. I have never seen a mouse controll in a Panther or Sherman tank. They used levers or cranks ^^

But every other realistic shooter on the market allows players the ability to control a tank's aim with a mouse. Why would Hell Let Loose be any different?

Are you refering Battlefield as realistic shooter?

Never seen that in Post Scriptum....

It's there to add the realism of the mechanism used in tanks for aiming like Awacs said, I'm pretty sure post scriptum has it too.
As you can see in this picture, number 11 and 12 is what you're looking for.

So it's a gameplay mechanic adaptation designed to mimic the lack of fine controls in WW2 tanks that exist in modern day tanks?

Also, I'm coming in from a Red Orchestra 2 background, where tanks in that game are much easier to operate and control, and where the aiming of the turret on the Panzer IV and T34 are facilitated by the use of the mouse, not the keyboard.

lol remember in BF4 when the turret traverse speed was as sensitive as you're mouse? Adapt an get good :)

It's just how tanks worked back in the day and I imagine there is no changing of it, atleast I hope not.

There are tons that use a mouse. Like War Thunder & Heros & Generals. I agree. Using the keyboard is dumb. Cause sometime when aiming at an enemy tank, the turret doesn't want to line up with him.

Exactly, it just doesn't feel natural having to finely adjust your aim with keyboard controls, feels like I'm back playing on console.

I mean, the ranges in the game are so short that you shouldn't really be able to have problems with lining up on a tank.
