Node question
If an engie builds a node then the enemy takes over that territory, is that node no longer usable by our command? or can it still be used as long as it is not destroyed by the enemy

I generates resources until it is destroyed by the enemy. As a matter of fact..it will generate more resources the further into enemy territory it is.

Is that actually true? I thought it was its position on the map that dictated how many resources it produced? For example if it was placed in the first row it would generate +5, the middle row would generate +10, regardless of which faction held the ground.

That was my understanding. I’ve been wrong before though.

Here it is explained

It generates ressources as long it is on the field. Until any player of either your or the enemy team dismantle it.

Though I hope they make it so if you build a new node further up it destroys the old node this really needs to be a feature, I hate having to spawn at HQ run to an old +5 node have to destroy it so I can move it up build a +20 or 15

The idea is good but there is one very big drawback. An inexperienced engineer can build new +5 resources points instead of your +20, and he can also build them in an inappropriate place where they can be easily destroyed.

Maybe a sort of tutorial or interface that shows when you put a node how much it will tick on the map. Or one step further you cant build far back you have to build near the push

nono I know that I mean for new players, so they know where to put things, we were just saying a way for them to know why to move nodes and not leave them back, or maybe put that picture into the game some how to give new players a better understanding

can you build in enemy territory?
Mikhail Reign Nov 13, 2019 @ 8:14pm
yes
so the best strategy for nodes is to have one squad b-line for the opposing hq at the start of the match and put them all down there?
Mikhail Reign Nov 13, 2019 @ 9:18pm
theoritically - yes.

No. Because you can only build them as far in enemy territory as you can place garrisons.
