Definitely not $50. You can get the standard edition for either console right now for $20 new or $18 used. The game is almost 2 years old. Even G2A and CDKeys are over $50 for standard edition. Never seen a game still run for full price after this long, except for Nintendo Switch games like Mario Odyssey and BotW, still full price and 3 years old. Doesn't make sense. I'll keep waiting for a sale that drops it to console prices, but I'm not holding my breath. Scarlet Nexus is on it's way to release so I guess that will do until CV drops in price.
I don't have a Switch so Idk about their prices, but from what I understand Nintendo first-party games usually don't get price cuts.
Actually I do think we see price drops for older games. At least used to.
But I guess the point is more, as long at is sells at this price, it will stay at this price ... Price will drop once the game stop selling I would say. The game isn't that old either, last DLCs were less than one year ago, so no real surprise here.
Exactly my point. Why is a 2 year old game still full price to begin with?
Not everyone will check though. Not saying it will happen for this game but i have seen it done in the past with a few games same time as a sale.
