For the player, there are no new outfits, just some new accessories. There are some mods that add outfits.

For your companions, the DLCs have some new outfits. Though you have to play through the DLCs to unlock them.

I wouldn't let the lack of outfits stop you from playing. It's a really great game.

I do find it weird that they made a fairly flexible character creation system with a lot of cosmetics and accessories and then only included a handful of outfits. Granted, they give you so many color and pattern options that you can still make a pretty cool outfit out of what they give you but they really should have released a character clothing pack. I gladly would have paid $10-$15 for another ten outfits.

That said, there should have been at least ten outfits to choose from. Four during character creation would have been fine but there should have been at least another half dozen that you can buy from Coco or someone later on.

Anime games are weird. People are more concerned with eyeballs and jackets and love interests than the game itself it feels like. I am impressed that the OP would reject a AAA RPG for lack of coats.

I need to visit anime game forums more. Im used to problems that can be solved, this is just funny.

The thing is this game dont even have modular armor, like in the DS games, so the only thing that change of your gear is the blood veil and the weapon and thats it, its gets visually stale quite fast.

also what I find funny is that this is AAA game and they dont even bother on making more than 7 outfits, are you for real? that is lazy af, this devs copy a lot of dark souls less the good parts lol.

There are lots of amazing AAA games out there that either have even less outfits or do not allow you to change it at all. And people are not bothered by it. You know why?

Because they're actually playing the game and are more interested in seeing its story and gameplay mechanics rather than staring at their character 24/7.

The amount of outfits does not determine how good a game is.

It actually has more character look customization because you can change your look at the mirror. Just save some customizations into the save slots and swap as you play. The customization options for colors, accessories, etc. are far deeper than what those other games offer. This actually exceeds what you would typically find even in most "high quality" MMORPG character creators. Mess around with it a bit and even some of the basic color changes can dramatically shift the look of an outfit. In addition, the character creator offers several outfits as well to pick from.

Even though I agree more outfits would be good, you get a lot of accessory slots and can change or enhance the look of an outfit. These same outfits look a lot different with accessories.

You can also change the size and manipulate objects to make other ones like my characters beard and headband. The headband is a headphone strap, the beard 2 sets of eyebrow tattoos and a chin tattoo.
