why do you necro this again ??? what is your problem?
you dont even have game on acount .
What you said makes no sense, you didn't play the DLC's nor the Game itself to the end.
The opinion on the Game and DLC's of yours, has no value.
It's always good to check reviews before you buy a Game but you should also read them and see what's it all about. Ignore the one line ones, they mostly add nothing insightful anyways.
People did expect too much and got upset, that's basically what did happen. True, if you compare the Masterpiece base Game to them, they do feel bad in comparison, yet they are on their own good as they are.
They added all the things everyone did desire in one or another way but with expectations so incredibly unreal, it was bound to happen, like it did.
If you go one step further and see the "value" you did get for a plain season pass, it's well worth the price - even at the full price.
I highly suggest to you, to play the Game fully, get the DLC's too (during sale atm too) and make up your own opinion on how "bad" everything is instead to listen to follow the screams..
Good luck judging quality of big open worlds, rpgs and story driven games in 30 minutes.
Most people apparently gave Fallout 76 a positive review. Are you going to argue that it's a good game now?
Fallout 4 writting is poor, full of plotholes, lackluster and leaves the protagonist with a "I am a badass that can decimate armies, yet i just live to serve and make sarcastic one liners. I am forced to make decisions and everything because i am surrounded by idiotic selfish lazybums who can't clean their asses. Also, no matter what i do, it has no consecuence". While Zelda breath of the wild has no story to follow and you just roam around the world surviving like in terraria style.
The only difference is that bethesda can't write npc's without either them being carbon copies of either real life people or previous entries (yeah, not gonna lie, ulfric and hitler are the same, even ulfric himself is smaller than other nords)
That's BS. The DLCs problems are far from being the expectations of the players. Almost every "new" items are reskin of base game items. Absolutely no new clothes. The DLCs are just three linear and easy depth maps with a lot of base game reskin. Absolutely every monsters in the DLCs(outside the bosses) are base game monsters. The first boss is decent, the second one is quite annoying and the third one is horrible despite having cool looking attacks.
The issue with the DLCs isn't the players expectation but the laziness of the developpers.
Base game was good despite having some issues, for sure. But I can't understand how you can deny that the three DLCs are bad. They are definetely not worth the full price.
I'm sure "all the things everyone did desire" wasn't reskinned items, small maps filled with base game enemies that you already killed 500 times and decent to annoying bosses.
Also no, fallout 4 is far from the best fallout (even if I have more than 1k hours on it lol). Hell I would even argue that f3 and f4 are just a goofy interpretation of what the universe of fallout was meant to be, hence why new vegas' writing is praised a lot. Because people actually behave and talk like normal people would do in this world.
