My opinion on the DLC

It's trash, save your money and just play the base game. It so far seems it is just going to be 3 depths maps with trash tier rewards.

pretty much everything in this DLC is trash. The Blood codes and their bonuses, the weapons which honestly even though they look cool have trash stats to the point that any other weapon performs better, and the blood veils are a freaking joke, only decent looking one is the hound one because it is not a glaring purple reskined monstrosity (how are these burned or scorched by fire!?).

you would think given the amount of bs the fight is, the new stuff would match it to act as an upgrade. These new bosses are the Horrors, the things that destroyed the world... they are designed to be hard endgame bosses, harder than any of the bosses in the base game, and the rewards for beating them (so far, since we only have Hellfire Knight for now) are a joke..

Trust me, save your money, so far this DLC is not worth it. maybe if it was 5 to $10, but with how much it is right now for what it is, it is a rip off.

OP, you didn't mention how the current DLC boss was ripped wholesale from a God Eater game with no modifications in terms of balance. Which is the epitome of laziness on behalf of the developers/bamco whichever.

And if you want to laugh a bit more, season pass costs the same as full game in my region. Imagine paying for this like for a full blown AAA game.

I have the deluxe edition or whatever it was called. It was what, 10e more expensive than the vanilla edition ? Came with season pass. No regrets. I got anyway too many hours from the vanilla game. I got more than my moneys worth already.

DLC is basically a rip off if you paid full price for the season pass or stand alone DLC price.
And they took so long to release it?
Time taken to make vs price vs amount of content.

Basically is a money grab. Hot garbage.

I got a sweet preorder deal. You could say that I got the standard edition, for the price of deluxe edition. I pretty much got the season pass for free.

But even if I didn't get stuff for free, I probably would not have been dissapointed. The most underwhelming thing for me, was that the enemies were the same. Except for new boss, you fight the same dudes. That part was boring.

It feels like im one of the rare who enjoyed the DLC .. xD As a fan of god eater i kinda liked to see an aragami as boss especially since that game is linked with god eater. Like its as if an aragami was able to enter in the mist and they locked him in the depth because they werent able to kill it. Aight sure we couldve enjoyed more story but code vein's over. The rest of the story wont be in that mist so we cant exactly have new story before having a code vein 2. Just some vestige to see the part of some people but thats pretty much all. I do agree that the cost of the dlc is a bit high compared to the price but still it made me play a whole 15 more hours because i wanted to do a perfect run on that boss, get that sweet burning pipe just because its a funny weapon and beat all the 10 difficulties. Just .. Yeah, personally I had fun doing that dlc tbh.

It is kind of disappointing that there not gonna be "after ending" story, and the content is rather small for the waiting time.

But at least the battle is pretty fun and they finally added some things that are not earned automatically by just entering the game. IMO they should made some of the challenges solo-only but other that that they are not bad.

also the boss is a bag of HP compare to regular boss which personnaly piss me off so i cheat and i don't regret , i personnaly think The surge 2 ( you can upgrade you weapons in new game +) and nioh (you have new weapons in after finishing the story ) are better both challenging and hard but atleast FAIR since in this game you can't upgrade your weapons in new game + you stuck with you +10 armor and weapons

Atleast i got it for free OOF even the DLC of the surge 2 is far better

we all know that the 2 other boss are also from god eater ( vajra and marduk )

On top of all the other bosses that are from god eater. I know it has a different texture, but the 'butterfly of delerium' is an Arda Nova. It has the exact same moveset and animations.

i did not see that but the delerium do have 3 more moveset then the arda poison shot , poison shotgun and the tail rush
