Easy Mode Option Please.

Please add one like. I get people like hard games but im sure there other like me just want to injoy the story and don't like hard games.

I finding the game a big struggle personal too im slowly making progress but i find dying over and over not fun at all and sense i dont like controllers and only use keyboard and mouse i find the way combat works in this game very difficult the target lock systems also very awful makes avoiding attacks worse and aiming strikes and camera dosnt follow where your character facing and blocking dosnt rotate with camera....

Gosh list can go on about this terrible game combat I just want to injoy the story and would really love a easy mode.
I know there coop but I'm slow and a explorer and worried players will go off triggering things or get annoyed with me trying to search every inch of the map.

Oftin i need or would like help doing that too cause it can be annoying and hard when random invasion incounter happen unexpectly and my companion dies instantly. =(

I'm level 64 I think currently too and weapon upgraded to 5 and transformed.

I'm at a point i feel like giving up too the church cathedral area just too hard I just want to have fun not struggle so badly. =(

There is an easy mode. Is called use Zweihander. And Yakumo.

The game becomes practically piss easy mode.

yakumo is this games easy mode, hes a great tank and damage dealer :p

that said if its just story you want without the gameplay, then there's always the option of just watching some gameplay on youtube?

IMO, this isn't as hard as dark souls.
I just finished Cathedral I think with less than Lvl50.
But I'm tanky af, using Yakumo's Code and 2h Sword + gifts (health+, stamina+, 2h mastery).
Also, Yakumo's Code has a shield gift that you can use to mitigate more damage.
Just be careful and you won't die that much.

Anyone asking for an easy mode on this game should realize tha tit is already in the game. Countrary to Dark Souls, you can open up your multiplayer without worrying about being invaded by another player; but just like in dark souls, you can summon someone that can carry you through along with your NPC.

And if that's not enough to help you well... git gud I guess?

the point of souls-like games is to be hard. If you do not wish to learn then this game is not for you. Not every game is meant for every audience. Use Yakumo, equip his barrier gift that absorbs damage. He will cast it too sometimes. You will mitigate damage. Remember to drain ichor from enemies. Watch boss guides on the net. Use passive gifts effectively to match your build.

And the game is extremely difficult it's just difficult. You have a companion that helps you. You can have a co-op player that will aid you. Just learn from own mistakes.

You are on PC. Use Cheat Engine if you want to cheat. The game isn't nearly as polished as it could be, and the devs should be working towards making the game better, not easier.

id just like to say it makes me happy that people found this game hard cause i suck at dark souls like real bad but i beat this with only a few problems mainly the cathedral i got soooo lost.
not saying i enjoy your misery just makes me feel like i only beat it cause its easy and not because of any real skill.

Hi every one!.
For all those suggested switch to range weapons I cant stand them and do terrible with them you still have to fight in melee range with range classes and weapons to get ichor and defeats the purpose of using them in my book plus the range on bayonets so short two-handded enamys basicly can hit you with in the range of the bayonets range no thanks.

I bin using a one-handed sword and quck mobility to move fast and dash and things around enamys to hit and run basicly.

I am not, not making progress in the game and for those that saying get good im not making progress I just perfer easyer content over hard content i don't find it fun.

Any ways not asking for them to make game easy just asking for them to add a easy mode for those that perfer it so those if u want to play on normal or if devs add 3 diffrent setting easy,normal,hard then maybe those elitist can play game harder then current state too and those of us that perfer more easyer mode can as well.

my tip for you is observe their attack animation and memorize them then learn when or how to dodge each and everyone of it. it's hard but that is what soul like games are.
