The Darkness 2 is a great FPS game, It has a simple yet interesting emotional story, with an attractive visual design. It's violence is as exaggerated as in the comics. 12 years ago I remember that many critics and people were very sceptical about this game, but time has shown us that this game is a hidden gem in gaming history. It's perfect for what it is. Brutal, bloody, edgy, fun, short, linear FPS. You will have a lot of fun in the 6 hours this game lasts. Highly recommend playing on harder difficulty. It's a shame that The Darkness 1 was never released on PC.
