Does NOT support mac
I've been doing some research on a number of different forums, and i've failed to see a single mac user without a gamebreaking problem. Problems are as following: No sound, Can't move the mouse, can't load a new game, when you get your darkness powers alot of the textures turn into yellowish goo and smoke, fire textures engulf everything and cover up the screen and some textures don't even load.

Needless to say, the game is unplayable in any of these states, and if you have less than 2 of these, consider yourself lucky, the planets have aligned you for a limited time.

I don't know why Steam says that this game is supporting Mac os cuase it clearly don't.
If it's some kind of miscummunitation or total bs from either 2K or Steam i don't know.

One thing is for sure though, if you plan to play this on a Mac, stay the hell away from this game like the plague.

EDIT: It seems though that in a few cases it does work, but it seems that in more than 50 % of the cases it flat out doesn't work or the textures is broken and makes the game unplayable so definetly avoid.

Are you sure its not your Mac itself?( i.e. software not up to date, too much memory used, dropped your laptop a couple of times?...)

I have over 750 GB of space, i have an Imac that have only been moved when i got it from the store to my desktop and i got 10.8.2 OS X Mountain Lion. I'm pretty sure that my mac isn't the problem.

Plus even if there was something wrong with my mac, there's still not a single mac user on the forums that have no gamebreaking problems.

About the "no sound" issue, I confirm that it doesn't work with my external sound device.
It only works with the internal speakers in the default configuration.

I guess that if you have a custom sound configuration, try instead to select the basic sound output in the sound pref. panel of OS X? I couldn't make it work otherwise. I am still on 10.6 though, and I am not sure about the sound options on 10.8.

Hope this helps!

Just finished it, only issue I ever had was when I tried using as PS3 control, which is a different beast all together.
Besides that everything worked fine, great game I might add.

Seems like i have been proven wrong, do however remember that alot of people have these issues when trying to launch it on a mac. I have been playing this on my laptop so i can safely say that this is a good game, just consider the good odds of it not running so well on macs

I've got a mac and the game worked fine for me (I don't play with sound though, so I guess that could be a problem, but I doubt it)

Update: apparently my mac no longer likes this game, now I get a black screen and an error on launch XD.

Did that happen after a Steam or a Mac OS X update?
I removed the game after finishing it, but I'll try to reinstall it and see if it still works on my computer when I get some time.
