Having trouble launching on deck

The game used to run fine until today when it updated something and now it won’t run. It says “starting launch” and returns to the library.

So far I’ve tried:

Different proton versions GE, 9.0.2, experimental

Clearing proton files

Booting in desktop mode

Nothing worked yet

Sorry I cannot help but I just finished it 5 minutes ago on Deck and everything went fine.
I played the whole game on desktop because I did stuff besides playing.
You haven't mentioned rebooting the system, only thing I can think of.

Do you happen to know where the save file is located?

I might just need to uninstall and reinstall

Yes, installing again is the best thing I think.

I always go to pcgamingwiki to find out where the savefile of games are.

The save file was in folder 67370, been a while since I had to do this, I forgot you can just goto the game’s page on steam and see the game # that will correspond with the save folder

Reinstalling the game worked. But if I restore my save file by replacing the compdata/67370 the game won’t launch

So I guess I just start a new game 🥴
