Game Breaking Invisible Wall Bug

In the Brothel level, when you take control of the Darkling for my game right where the grates end there is an invisible barrier I cannot go through. When I try to go back to the start of the vent there is another barrier at the beginning of the grates. Its almost like in game for me, the vent looks like this:

Where the grates are the lower part. you cant jump in the vent so I literally cant go on to the next part.

I had this problem to. Go to options in game and turn vertical sync on, it sould clear problem. You can restore defalt after if you chose.

I just had a similar problem but in the mission "Fun and Games", putting vertical sync on fixed the problem. Why would that take the invisible wall away that wouldn't let me progress though the mission? I will never know.
