The Darkness II
Did not understand the end at all [WARNING: SPOILER]
Player Darkness II , great game though, but I dont understand what is happening in the end:
I free Jenny out of her chains, she comes to me and we are hugging and so on and so on....credits.....after the credits: Press use to let her go, she says, she loves me and then..... I mean wtf? She turns into a Darkness Angel? Does she leave him alone in the hell? Could someone explain that to me please? (Add: Did not play the first Darkness)

No, she turns into an Angelus, the eternal opponents of the Darkness (think of Angelus as Heaven's Army and the Darkness as Hell).

In this game it always appeared to me that Jenny actually turned into the Witchblade, a human host for the Angelus (just like Jackie is a human host for the Darkness).

Read up on the comics lore here:

http://witchblade.wikia.com/wiki/The_Darkness

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Darkness_%28comics%29

Or get yourself some of the Darkness comics collected Volumes. They are actually quite fun (at least the original ones co-written by Garth Ennis, don't know about the later books).
Actually went ahead and read up on it myself. this is the ending of Darkness 2 explained by the Darkness Wiki:

"The Angelus appears in the ending for The Darkness II video game. The Darkness tries to prevent Jackie from rescuing Jenny, as the Darkness knows Jenny has been chosen as the next host of the Angelus. After Jackie rescues Jenny from the Darkness, they have a moment of peace together, exchanging their love for each other again. Jenny states that she will love Jackie no matter what, and that she is sorry for whatever happens. She is then ripped away from Jackie, as the Angelus takes her over. The Angelus states that Jenny is still within her, and that the world has gone too long without her light. The Angelus then states that Jackie and the Darkness are where they belong, and ascends, leaving them both in Hell, with Jackie screaming in anger."

is there a different ending if you stay with jenny at the assylum?
Yeah, but not much happens. You and Jenny dance around a bit in the asylum, then credits roll.
Well the other Jenny isn't the real
Sure, but you (and by extension your Jackie) knows full well what that choice entails. You know that steak you're eating isn't real, but still the taste is real enough.
Both endings are bad. The first has him retiring to an illusion by himself. Jackie already knows that the aslyum isn't real, nor is anyone in it, so I question why he'd want to stay there. This would be like deliberately putting yourself in a coma to dream away the rest of your life in an isolated fake fantasy because real life sucks or someone you want is dead. It's just a waste of whatever life you had left. This is basically the masturbation choice, because he's alone playing with himself.

The second one has Angelus, the opposite version of the Darkness, possess Jenny's spirit(or some such crap), then leave while he's left there to rot in hell(I presume). But Jackie deserves this fate for being stupid enough to suicide his life down the tube to try to save his already dead ex. She can't be "saved", she's already dead, she has been for the entire game. What, were you going to bring her back to life? And yourself too??? This guy is like 22 years old or such. News flash, most people in these years divorce or break up with the girl they had when they were a teenager, not suicide to reunite with their ex's dead ghost. Jackie is acting like a child that can't grow up or move on when his ex GF is D E A D.

What he should have done is forget about Jenny(she's dead you moron), kill off all the brotherhood, use the siphon to remove the darkness, bury the blasted thing or throw it into the middle of the ocean, then go on with his life in that nice huge mansion with all that money. You can find a new damn chick. Threw his life away to go after a girl's ghost. You'd think that someone in their 20s wouldn't be that pathetic. A few years later she very well may have dumped him anyway. Hope she's worth it.

^Pretty much the story of Darkness 2 in a nutshell. :-D

Though, to give our protagonist some credit, he was a 22 yo guy who rode his life on adrenaline in a power-trip of killing for the mob, then getting godlike demonic powers and decimating the mob to become head of family himself, then fight weird demons and crazy brotherhood folk, all while not being allowed to have sex because his powers kill him and transfer during the moment of conception (which in this story begs the question of how the hell his father and memories of his father fit in with that whole darkness-lineage thing), and driven by the idea that he might be able to save the only girl he has ever known and loved.

If you can't have sex, you get emotional. Right?

Btw., shouldn't he be able to have sex if he pulls out just before....?
I don't know anything about the Darkness transferring upon sex, and as far as the games go, that's crap. I didn't see any of this in either game, and I go by the games I play, not comic books or other material not in the games.

You may want to read the comics...
I'll dig this one out

Quite a while ago I was watiching anime called "Witchblade" Well, I did not watched it entirely cus it simply sucked

Anyway, as I was looking at The Witchblade wiki and The Darkness wiki....I was confused

Is the "The Darkness" world and lore as we know from game some sort of spin-off from the Witchblade world ?

Anyone is into this stuff and care to explain connection of this game world to the Witchblade world ? (if there is any)
No. Both The Darkness and Witchblade were created at Top Cow Productions and the creators of both just collaborated, as was usual at the time. I'm not that much into the comics lore, tbh, but I suppose they just chose to keep that collaboration with crossover stories going, up to the point of Witchblade sharing the same "universe" with The Darkness.

Well, I guess, at least. I don't actually know, it's all a bit far away and I don't feel like researching this stuff.
But this crossover-stuff was business as usual during the 90's. I mean, the Witchblade had a few run-ins with Spawn, also, and The Darkness had a crossover with Batman, which for some reason has also become canon for The Darkness.
Biggest problem is that they created clifhanger. They thought that there will be 3rd game and they failed. 1st Darkness offered compleate story and 2nd did not.
