Anyone have an Official info about The Darkness II sequel?

I want to see the next fight agains Angelus.. :D

Doubt it'll happen, honestly. The Darkness 2 sold poorly, so the series is likely dead. Or at least dead for a decade or so.

How they can let this cliffhanger on The Darkness 2 if they was thinking in not doing the sequel?

Well first of all jackie is stuck in hell with no way out and could die and without the darkness he is powerless so probably not a The Darkness 3

Not true. He have The Darkness power, but not his essence. Also theres is high probability that Jackie and the The Darkness team together to finish off Angelus.

There will not be a third. The first didn't even sell well, causing the second's budget to drop, and the second didn't sell good either. They have nothing to work with. Very unfortunate that everyone is buying NBA and Madden instead of great games like this. It ruins it for the rest of us.

There were several rumors in 2012 that they're already working on a 3rd part but there was no official confirmation and as TheElbowStealer and BleachDrinker already said it's extremely unlikely that the rumors are true and that there will be a 3rd part....;(

Digital Extremes, the company that developed the game, is right now busy with Warframe, so I don't think there will be any Darkness III. I haven't finished the game yet, but I already think there should be. Pitty.

In Darkness II...: hospital is the reality, there is no Hell!!
...and yes, Jackie is really dead and he never come back.
This game is about the beautiful human mind'... (check the hospital room for some casettes and posters, books and for other things.

You can't be sure, it may be just a Darkness' trick to make Jackie stay in. I guess, developers left it for the players to decide, where is reality.
