passport desk with the arrows pointing outside the international zone. You might have to rotate the object.

It can be confusing, but I have noticed, unless it was changed, that the unmanned passport desks are okay to be used for entrances, but the manned passport desks needs to be used for an exit. According to the tutorial tab it only shows the manned passport desks used as both the entrance and the exit.

Actually both should work. If it isn't the case also after restarting the game, may send in a bug report if only one of them works.

Important is that the zone is correct and when activating the zone overlay, that it will be counted as entrance or exit at the zone info box. (That also requires sometimes a reload)

Look at the arrows, which way are they pointing? if they are pointing into the international zone then that is your entrance and if the arrows are pointing away (you will have to rotate the desk) from your international zone then that is your exit. Make sure you zoned both international and security zone on top of one another. The passport desks has to cross both the international/security zone and the regular security zone in order to work. Try that and let us know if it worked, if not, then can you post a screenshot of the area you are trying to set up so we can try to help you better.

I made sure that my arrows are pointing from international into secure zone and the people walk through the entrance to go do a security check at the exit and then are stuck outside international zone and the terminal tab considers them as entrances even though they are pointing out
