You dont need any flight attendands in this game.
What of my posting was negative? Stop implying anything.
You can research very early and quick automated boardings, thats why my posting was totally okay. Especially, you can avoid some (staff/pathfinding) bugs with the automated gates.
By the way, I asked a total normal question. Simple answers would be like: "Because, I dont have unlocked the research" or "I like to have staff there for more realism".
To NeoKuro:
In my first game, when I built automated (boarding and check-ins), it was very buggs. This ended, when I removed the ones with the staffs. I want to say with that, that bugs can occur, when you are using both systems (staff AND automated) at same time.
But if it was a zoning/pathing issue the game should really detect that and explain why they aren't working their shifts (personally, I'd prefer the desks to be manned at all times rather than 'as and when' - with breaks for rest etc ofc)
