Landing Slots instead of schedualing

I stopped playing this game because the auto-schedule was horrible and manually scheduling every flight was time consuming. Is there a Mod or update that has fixed that? Having slots with 5-10 minute intervals would be the best thing. The built in auto-scheduler puts too many flight landing at the same time.

Sadly this is still the same. But ACEO Tweaks provide an auto reneval of contracts keeping scheduled flights endless in best of case. (See Apog Labs forums)

horrible or not, auto does it better than i can and i would rather be building but to each his own i guess - if you get the right disaster it can wipe out your entire schedule anyways
