Deicing of planes also play quite well but can easy create a bottle neck.
Els try to check if you can fire some people. Often i hire allot of staff and many never really do anything but just cost mooney.. The game goes with construction staff, once you are finished building then fire them.
Els try to make your airport more efficient. Example the large parking stand can make delivery of suitcases and other things faster. Also make underground roads for your trucks so they easy can go from a-b-c-d it also save allot of time and make things more efficient = saving money.
And take note what fuel contracts cost, and what airlaines pay more.
You can also raise prises for parking and services for a little extra income. This might require you hire one of the MANY different CEO's that will give you access to various new features.
as for baggage systems. tilt trays are your bestest friend. you only need 1 baggage security system place tilt trays after the security check to then re route the baggage to the correct bay. try to use as little conveyor system as well using tilt trays to then branch off as required.
the more you build the more your operating cost. try to think about ways to minimise construction.
