International Gates
How to do you change the gate from domestic to international? I have the international zone and passport control in both directions laid out. But I can't get the boarding desk to connect because the gate is still in domestic mode. All of my large gates have access from the ground level.

When you say "gate" are you referring to the Stand? If so, when you right-click on the stand, the is an icon that you toggle.

similar issue. is it only the large stands that can be international stands or is there a way to get medium stands to do it as well?

You can switch to the realistic international mode in your gameplay settings. Then it also depends on where your airport is located and the number of domestic airports in that country to get domestic flights. Small countries might don't get medium or large domestic flights offered.

Medium Stands can be international. I have several.

I believe in normal mode, only large can be int. but in a special int. mode, you can make medium gates/stands int. as well.

As andycishere already said if "realistic international stands" is turned on in the gameplay settings, you can choose whether a stand is international or not. You can click on each stand and enable or disable the "air traffic type".
