de icing
so i think that to me this game is looking realistic and should be as realistic as possible and so i think the de-icing trucks go to the stands because that's the most realistic way possible but if its too difficult to change you may keep it that way

Is de-icing location specific? My airport in California should never need it.

De-icing is location specific and it's not realistic for them to go to the physical stand as the coolant they spray is toxic to the environment and humans and so each airport that provides the service places the service on a location that is away from gates(stands) and the physical building

It needs to be re-balanced. It cost way more to build than you will ever recover in fees. A 50,000 gallon tank costs 300-400K to fill! At $500 a service it can take 800 services to break even. After 1 day my tank is down 40%.

Just up the price of the fees higher than the fuel cost..... that’s how it works

Check your contract get the 0.06 per liter and then have your fee at 0.09

Does not solve the problem with it costing 400K at a time to refuel the depot. Late game no problem, but when winter is coming in your first year, it hard not to go into deep debt to fund. In my game its 6.0 to 8.0 per unit of anti-icing liquid.

Sign the small contracts then....

Do you even play the game? The amount you buy is based on your depot size not how much the contractor delivers. If the delivery size is small multiple trucks will arrive and you still pay the same. And often times the smaller contract has a higher per unit cost. The per unit cost vary little between the contractors, and seldom vary by more than 1.

Look at my hours... yes I do play

The amount you buy is based on the contract and the depot size...

largest is 100k (2 depots)
2nd largest is 50k ( 1 depot)
3rd largest (smallest) is 25k or .5 depots...

So yes it is based on the contract, while the smallest is more expensive in terms of amount per liter... it helps

You are correct except for one point. The 3rd largest will send 4 trucks right off the bat so its the same as the 1st and 2nd as far as cost goes as the 2nd will send 2 trucks. So the startup expense to start any depot is always the depot capacity x unit cost. The fuel depots with costs ranging from .16 to 2.0 vs 6 to 9 for de-icing makes it way more costly.
