FPS drop/lag

I used to recieve a pop up before starting the game, allowing me to change the graphic settings (low, ultra, fast etc) The game was running fine on ultra until recently the fps keeps dropping and the game is very laggy. I would change the settings to low, but the pop-up that used to show is no longer there. I have contacted apple and they said that it was steams issue, not theres. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hold down the option key when you click play and keep it held should force that screen to open.

Also you may find that the longer you play the fps does drop due to the size of your airport. If you save the game, exit to main menu and reload it, usually restores the FPS. Apparently it is a bug within the game they are trying to resolve.

Yup, game lags like maple syrup in winter for me but only really bad on speed 3 even though my airport is rather small.

It feels like a memory leak of some sort since saving/exiting the game and restarting it tends to bring back the FPS at least for a while.

I'm experiecing this as well. It looks like there is a memory leak. Game starts fine but after a while it keeps dropping and dropping. Although i can't see my memory increasing, so maybe its a problem of processes that keep running?
